We were recently asked by our client Vitapet, to come up with a creative activation idea that they could runWU on-stand at the Melbourne Pet & Animal Expo.
The hero product was their new range of cat litter. As cat litter is not a particularly great conversation starter, we wanted to approach the brief in a more humorous way which would grasp peoples’ attention and create awareness of the Vitapet brand at the event.
So “Dig for the Golden Nugget” was born! We filled a giant litter tray full of Vitapet cat litter and hid a golden nugget within it. Consumers were blindfolded as they had the chance to scoop for the nugget. If successful, they would win a $50 Vitapet Prize pack! It didn’t take long for the crowds to gather around to see what was happening.
All in all a successful and interesting activation to add to the April5 portfolio!
